Reanudando, renovando y nuevamente inaugurando...

Después de una prolongada ausencia (la más larga en la historia de este blog) he decidido que la fecha del 8 de marzo era perfecta para regresar, no porque sea "día de la mujer" o porque quiera decir mil cosas bonitas sobre nosotras (para eso tengo todos los días del año y se sentirá mucho más genuino), sino porque a partir de hoy Freaky Fashion Friday renace con un nuevo nombre y una nueva misión: El divan fashionista. En esta nueva etapa les hablare de la psicología de la moda, la belleza y el uso de la misma como una herramienta de empoderamiento femenino, es hora de unir mi profesión con mi pasión para poder hablar concienzudamente sobre temas que antes valoraba de manera banal. La verdad es que hace 4 años cuando abrí el blog solo quería expresar mis gustos fashionistas pero en Octubre del año pasado vi como inminente la necesidad de renovar este espacio que por años fue solo un hobbie y convertirlo en mi lugar de batalla, ese sitio en el cual puedo expresar lo que vivo día a día con mis clientas de coaching de imagen, pero sobretodo combatir los mitos que tanto daño nos hacen en términos de autoestima y seguridad personal.

Sé que los cambios son retadores y reconstruir mi blog no fue la excepción, especialmente por esa creencia de "si re-encamino mi labor me toca empezar practicamente de cero" no obstante he aprendido que quien me lee es porque en verdad necesita lo que yo expreso y si este es el momento de cortar nuestro vínculo lector-blogger te agradezco los años de lectura y complicidad, del mismo modo si nunca antes me habías leído y te entusiasma la nueva puerta que estoy abriendo eres bienvenido, confío poder ofrecerte el mejor contenido que me sea posible.

I think one of the most amazing parts of being a fashion blogger is the interaction with communities and being able to join one of the most lovely and strongest communities in the word!!!
I'm a little bit exited because today is the birthday of one of my favorite fashion bloggers in Spanish:  Adrien Loren... If you are following me on twitter, you already know this... but I live in Colombia and he is from Barcelona, we have NEVER seen each other or hanged out... but I love his work and he deserves all the advertise I can give him.
Of course this is a really funny situation, a few years ago I wouldn't have followed a complete stranger and would have admire him like a famous person, but I'm 100% sure he will be a really famous person and his future will shine like diamonds hahaha

Creo que una de las mejores partes de ser un blogger de moda es interactuar con la bloggosfera y poder ser parte de una de las mas hermosas y fuertes comunidades del mundo!!!!
Hoy estoy un poco emocionada porque es el cumpleaños de unos de mis bloggers favoritos en español: Adrien Loren... Si me siguen en twitter ya deben saber esto... Pero yo vivo en Colombia y él en Barcelona, nosotros nunca nos hemos visto o hemos hecho planes... Pero amo su trabajo y su futuro brilla como los diamantes ahahahaha

♥ Very important speech♥ To my followers!

Hi my adorable readers, I want to apologize for my long absent… I've been through a lot of things… My grandfather died and I’m so sad for that, we were so close and I am not in a good mood. But this situation makes me stronger and now I know that if I don’t believe in my dreams and my future, nobody is going to believe in me! That’s why I came back! Because I love you so much and you gave me one big reason to stay blogging: Someday I want to be one of the most biggest Colombian fashion-blogger, and If you are reading this, I swear your support will give me the power to continue and find the way to keep writing, looking for good ideas, always trying to build a fashion and stylish word, where you and I can live happily ever after.

I have so many ideas, that from now on I’m not going to be embarrassed to show my own style (The real and deeper me) and maybe when I’m in the mood to wear colorful and different kind of clothes, I’ll make some awesome look-book post, from here… my country, my culture and my beliefs. All of this will be exposed to all of you.

I'm also writing this, to be grateful with life, for the excellent boyfriend it has given me; he supports me like nobody else in these difficult times, and he believes in me, like my Tato did. I’m also thankful for my family and friends, they are really awesome and I know in some strange way they complete my life and help me to be the women that I am. Of course I have to say thanks to life for giving me 23 years with my Tato, and for showing me all his lessons and teachings so that I can, in the future, transmit all of his knowledge to my lovely little cousins.

I love you so much; I don’t care if we have never met… You are amazing only for following me and I hope you can share in the comments below all your dreams and all the love you want to share: for me, for your family & friends, and especially all the love you have for yourself!
