Cherry nails!

HI dear followers, I’m so sorry for the long absent. My laptop broke and my actual pc is not the best… But I love all of you so much that I decided to post a couple of things I want to share for my favorite season: Summer! For now I leave you my “Do It Yourself” Cherry nails! Hope you like it!

1. Start with the base coat to protect your natural nails.

2. Paint all of your nails in white color.

3. Use a dot tool and make some red dots to create cherries.

4. Use a small nail brush and paint some green lines to create the stems.

5. Deep the brush into white polish and then add little dots in the cherries to highlight them.

6. Add a top coat and your nails are finished.

Agatha, Agatha, Agatha!

Agatha Ruiz De La Prada is one of my favorite designers and I just read that she made 33 exclusive diadems for Yoox.com. I think some of them are really exotic and personally I don’t think it’s the kind of accessories  I could wear, but a couple of them are pretty good and I think they have a lovely color touch. Check out the pictures and let me know which one you love and which one you really hate.

My dear fashion lovers today I found a really cute corset picture and I thought why not make a post about it… Corset is actually a great option, this garment will make you look and feel sexy, and actually all I can remember when I think in corsets is sexy bodies, can can dancers and of course the amazing Moulin Rouge. DIY Ladybug nails

1. Start with the base coat to protect your natural nails.

2. Paint your nails in a beautiful red (apply 2 coats), make sure your nails are completely dry before moving on to the next step.

3. Use a black nail polish and carefully paint the tips of your nails, next paint some little dots in the red part. Try to make them separated and dispersed.

4. Now in the black lines draw two white points (like South Park characters eyes).

5. Inside the white dots, paint a little black dot finishing the ladybug eyes.

And there you have the lady bug nails! I hope you liked this post and the results are useful for you!

Alice’s Cherries, Tea time.

Hello fashion lovers! Ok, a couple of days ago I had a girly girl plan with some of my lovely girl friends from the University, we went to a very nice place in the center of the city, called Alice’s Cherries. I read a couple of reviews and I was really excited because all of them were pretty nice and the critics were very good. I was not disappointed, I consider it to be my new favorite place and I think my friends felt the same attraction to the place. If you live or are traveling to Bogota you must visit this place, in fact they have the best cupcakes in town (they only compete with the mint chocolate cupcakes homemade by my mom. LOL)

I order a delicious lemon cupcake, a beautiful red macaroon and I drank a delicious hot drink!

I could select my tea by smelling these amazing boxes.

Of course I have to say that I loved the tea party idea, and of course these lovely teapots.

My friend Laura, the tea expert :)

We all enjoyed the tea party time. I leave you with other amazing photos we took.

Top 10 Movies for Fashion Inspiration.

1. Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961): On this movie Audrey Hepburn shows her classic, glamorous fashion. After all, the original “Little Black Dress” can be credited to this film! A classic that you have to see, which will inspire you.

2.  Marie Antoinette (2006): If you really love fashion and vintage style, this awesome movie by Sofia Coppola will be for you.   This movie is full of fashion: Victorian flowers everywhere, pastel bows, ruffles and fans; and of course a lot of wigs and masks… even the food in this movie is stunning!

3.  The Devil Wears Prada (2006): I really adore Miranda Priestly, I think she has that kind of strong soul that the fashion world needs and I bet all great fashion icons have been like her. You feel fashion not only in Andy’s transformation… Fashion is on the streets, in every conversation… Awesome movie!

4. Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009): Ok, I feel so identified with Rebecca! I LOVE this movie!! Definitely it’s one of my favorite fashion movies, it’s funny, it’s lovely, and I want every single fashion cloth that appears in the movie!

5. Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008): I know maybe you hate the documentaries but this one is about the life or Valentino (one of my favorite Italian designers) and the whole Fashion Empire he created. It’s really awesome and I love the puppies

TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGJJRPWqvzM

6. Coco Avant Chanel (2009): Everyone who knows me knows my great love and admiration for Chanel ... Her designs, revolutionary thinking and how she changed the world as a woman in a man's world. This film is about her life before transforming into one of the most famous fashion designers of the twentieth century.

TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isEnyrd2Moc

7. Sex and the city (2008): I have to say that I don’t really like the movies based on a TV show, but in this case if you enjoy the TV show, this movie is for you. I laughed, I cried, and every time I have the opportunity to check out this film I have a great time. Remember the “double L” Labels and lovers!!

TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4jVEyGuTfY

8. Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009): Ok, this movie is like the second part of Chanel’s life (after the story told in “Coco Avant Chanel”) and it’s a little bit darker. This is when Chanel becomes the rude and strong women that everyone remembers, in a “fashion” sense. I must say that I really liked the decoration of the spaces and of course the simple dresses worn by Chanel.

9. Sex and the city 2 (2010): as much as I dislike the movies based on TV shows, especially a second part, I think in this case the second part is much more entertaining and funny than the first one. And I have to say that this movie has much more fashion style than the first movie launched in 2008.

TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-wA7TYcECQ

10. Crimes of fashion (2004): I actually was looking for fashion movies and I have to admit I had never seen this movie before, but once I started I couldn’t stop watching, laughing and I really enjoyed the plot!
